Energinet generates and harvests large amounts of energy data, and we make the open energy data available through Energi Data Service and the Energidataportal. Whether you have a specific idea already, or you need help to orientate yourself in the possibilities, we have gathered some cases that you can be inspired by. You can also find inspiration in “Publications” and in the examples under “Visualizations” on the front page.
We believe that the green digital solutions of the future must be developed jointly. Open Door Lab is our platform for collaborating with climate-ambitious companies to realize the green digital solutions of the future, so that together we can accelerate the green transition. See more about Open Door Lab here.
Below you can see examples of such innovation collaborations.
The data available on energidataservice.dk comes from various system within the Energinet organisation. The different system has a different purposes in the daily operation. Collection of data from the electricity market, gathering information from the danish electricity and gas transmission grid and information from the ancillary service market.
Energinet is continuously working to increase access to data from various systems including aggregated data from the danish Datahub.
However our systems contains information that is personally identifiable and market-sensitive, which is why Energinet cannot compromise on personal data protection and information security when access to data is granted. For the same reason, only aggregated data is displayed to maintain security.
Energidata is a part of many different projects and processes both intern and extern. There are many possible purposes and value potentials in this. From Energinet, we see that it can also create great value in the acceleration of the green transition. We find that hugely inspiring.
Below you will be able to find cases that deal with external collaboration on data as well as external work with energy data from Energinet, which has no other dependence on Energinet.
